The calm and clear waters around Boracay are excellent for training dives. With more than a million tourists visiting the island each year, it is easy to see why there are over 40 dive centers. We do not recommend one particular dive center, but we can tell you how to find the right one. Furthermore, we can also tell you how to find the right dive professional.
Being a scuba diver is not only about knowing how to dive underwater. For instance, consider that you and your buddy depend on each other for safety. As such, a complete scuba diver is one who has earned the rescue diver certification. Besides continuing dive education, PADI dive centers in Boracay could help you explore the dive sites around the island.
Recreational diving is not only a fun activity but also an excellent way to get away from the stress of life. But rather than escaping, some choose a new lifestyle as a dive professional. Life as a PADI divemaster, instructor, and beyond, is a dream come true. Due to the massive tourist arrivals, training in Boracay means candidates gain invaluable experience.
BORACAY SCUBA DIVING EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Like in any fun activity, there are risks in scuba diving. As such, we expect dive centers to focus on safety over anything else.
Dive centers and professionals should never compromise safety for money or convenience.
In case there is an emergency, the ability of a dive center to respond is dependent on how prepared the team is. Our recommendation is for dive centers to conduct emergency response simulations monthly. Such exercises should include in-store staff, boat crew, and dive professionals.
We are three people who are willing captives of the spellbinding charm of Boracay Island. Living on the best island in the Philippines – perhaps in the world – has its limits. At 10.32 km², it is a tiny island. But out there beneath the seas, there is a universe to explore.
Bonded by shared interests and goals, we commit ourselves to responsible diver education. We are on a mission to bring more people to a parallel world in a safe manner. At the same time, we would also like to focus on the conservation of our fragile marine ecosystem.
